Located in the heart of the Glebe, our downtown studio offers acting classes in the perfect creative space to learn and enjoy.

Both the Ottawa Acting Studio and the Kanata Acting Studio provide hubs for creative individuals passionate about the performing arts. Both studios offer acting classes in a supportive environment where actors, from absolute beginners to the more experienced, can hone their craft, explore their abilities, and connect with a community of like-minded individuals.
Meet our new instructor
Jinesea Rodrigues
Jinesea is an improv teacher, comedian, and actor with nearly a decade of experience in improv, stand-up, and sketch comedy. A former Second City Mainstage performer, she has appeared in 15 films, often as the Black best friend in Hallmark movies—leading to her acclaimed one-woman show, Diary of a Black Hallmark Best Friend. She's performed at Ottawa Fringe, the Ottawa Improv Festival, and the Black and Funny Improv Festival in Minneapolis. She's been nominated for a Rideau Award for Outstanding Actress, featured on the Oprah Winfrey Network and Amazon Prime Video’s NAACP Image Award-nominated drama Cross, and has served as a counselor at both Camp ZipZap in Montreal and the Canadian Improv Games’ Improv U Summer Camp.
