Located in the heart of the Glebe, our downtown studio offers acting classes in the perfect creative space to learn and enjoy.
Both the Ottawa Acting Studio and the Kanata Acting Studio provide hubs for creative individuals passionate about the performing arts. Both studios offer acting classes in a supportive environment where actors, from absolute beginners to the more experienced, can hone their craft, explore their abilities, and connect with a community of like-minded individuals.

This acting and improv class continues to be a fantastic outlet for social and creative energy, all while feeling safe and encouraged in a small group setting. In this class, students continue to develop acting, improv and comedy skills integral to all theatrical disciplines including ensemble-building, storytelling, voice, movement and character creation. Not only are students expanding their physical, vocal, and communication skills, but they are also learning transferable skills such as confidence, focus, listening, and trust building.

Acting for TV: Self-Tapes & Demo Reel Scenes (This is a level 2 course)
In today’s TV and streaming industry, your first impression is often made on screen—long before you step into a casting room. This hands-on course is designed to help actors sharpen their on-camera skills, perfect their self-tape auditions, and create professional-quality scenes for their demo reels.
Over the course, participants will:
By the end of the course, each participant will leave with polished self-tape skills, a stronger understanding of acting for TV, and two professionally shot, edited scenes for their demo reel—ready to send to casting directors and agents. This is a fast-paced, practical, and creatively rewarding course for actors at any stage looking to make a strong impression in the competitive TV market.
